When Light Finds You

John 1:5

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (NIV)

There are seasons when life feels overshadowed — when fear, pain, or uncertainty make the darkness seem overwhelming. Yet John reminds us of a truth that changes everything: the light is not threatened by darkness. It overcomes it.

Jesus came as that light for the world. He steps into the places we feel most lost, bringing clarity, hope, and new life. His light is not distant or unreachable — it is given freely to those who receive Him.

When we welcome Him, something profound happens. We are no longer defined by our past, our pain, or our searching. We are brought into God’s family and called His own.

Even now, His light is reaching toward you — steady, patient, and full of love.

Prayer

Our Father who is in Heaven, thank You for giving me Your Son the Lord Jesus Christ, thank You that He is the light that overcomes every darkness in my life. Help me to receive Him, believe in Him, and walk in the new life You give through Him. Remind me that I belong to You and that I am a child of God. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ Amen.
